Steve DiUbaldo

Steve DiUbaldo is the President of Atlantic & Pacific Real Estate. A proven leader with over 30 years experience in the Financial Services industry and over 20 years in senior executive line management, he has a track record of producing profitable operating results in all economic cycles. His experience ranges from working with large Wall Street firms to turning small companies into industry leaders, and from building start up operations to managing turnarounds in over 20 years in senior executive line management. Most recently Steve was the Chief Operating Officer of Saxon Mortgage, a Morgan Stanley company.

In this position, Steve was responsible for setting up the operational infrastructure of the newly acquired Saxon Mortgage and ran the day to day operations. Steve quickly established new operations and risk procedures and was able to increase operational capacity 500%. During the first six months of operation volume at Saxon increased from $96M a month to $500M while achieving historic record lows in early payment defaults. He was able to successfully convert the business from a non-prime platform to strictly prime with zero early payment defaults in the first 4 months of prime origination.

Prior to being recruited by Morgan Stanley Steve spent 5 years at Fremont Investment and Loan
and 23 years at Citi/Associates First Capital.

Steve attended C.U.N.Y. and resides in Coto de Caza,CA with his wife Denise, their son Steve and daughter Nicole.

Matt Slonaker

Matt joined Atlantic & Pacific Real Estate in August 2011 and is responsible for the development and implementation of Atlantic & Pacific’s institutional real estate business channel. In this role, he is focused on providing financial and asset management institutions with a full service national real estate brokerage firm and related real estate disposition solutions, with particular expertise in maximizing the value of distressed properties for sale. Prior to joining Atlantic & Pacific Real Estate, Matt was responsible for Saxon’s Advisory and Consulting Services business segment focused on providing mortgage servicing solutions.

Additionally, he has held senior roles as COO/SVP of REDC Default and Red Crown Realty, MD/SVP of Real Estate and Analytics with Bear Stearns/EMC Mortgage, First Vice President of Default with Countrywide and Vice President of Default with Option One Mortgage. Matt has held board of director positions with various charitable organizations like the YMCA Orange County youth program and industry groups like the REOMAC organization. He is also a proud veteran of the US Navy, where he was a Cryptology Specialist.
