Carrington Mortgage Services, LLC – Mortgage Servicing Division is a fully-integrated mortgage company with a “high-touch” special servicing platform, ideally suited for the difficult task of borrower outreach. Its primary objectives are to enable families to maintain homeownership while maximizing the value of the underlying assets for its investors.
Led by a seasoned, results-oriented management team, Carrington Mortgage Services has special expertise in servicing distressed residential real estate assets, and is licensed to service such assets in all United States jurisdictions. The company’s core competencies include customer service, delinquency management, default management, loan administration, analytics and investor reporting.

John Alkire
Mr. Alkire joined Carrington as Executive Vice President, Loan Servicing Support, in May 2007.
Mr. Alkire is a highly regarded loan servicing executive with more than 34 years of consumer and mortgage lending industry experience. Prior to Carrington, Mr. Alkire spent 7 years at Fremont Investment & Loan, starting up the loan servicing division. This unit grew from 10,000 units to 120,000, including two fully redundant sites. This platform was viewed as a gold standard among peer companies in the areas of collections and default management. Prior to joining Fremont, Mr. Alkire spent 25 years at The CIT Group, the last 7 years managing the Servicing Operation. While there he was responsible for overseeing the servicing operation of 240,000 borrowers and 500 employees. Mr. Alkire was responsible in working with the RTC and managing their manufactured home portfolio as well as becoming the GNMA default servicer for manufactured housing. Mr. Alkire was a member of the Oklahoma Governor’s Business Roundtable during his tenure with CIT. Mr. Alkire attended Indiana State University and Oklahoma City University.
