As Chief Operations Officer, Charles Piper is responsible for the company’s bi-coastal operations, IT and business units, including customer satisfaction, employee development and the continuous improvement of products and services. Piper joins Prommis from ePay, an electronic payments company where he served as managing director. At ePay he led the company through a period of significant expansion, maintaining quality delivery and customer service.
Prior to that, Piper served as President & CEO for DVDPlay, Inc., a leader in the development and management of DVD rental kiosks. Piper was previously Senior Vice President of Operations for Blackhawk Network, a market leader in prepaid and payments network and card-based financial solutions. Piper graduated Magna Cum Lade with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Regis University in Denver and later returned to complete his Masters of Business Administration in finance and accounting.

As corporate counsel for Prommis Solutions, Volentine is responsible for all legal department functions, including litigation management, contract administration, risk management and regulatory compliance.
Volentine joins Prommis after serving for 10 years as Associate General Counsel at Fannie Mae, where he negotiated and drafted contracts, managed transactional issues involving mortgage-backed securities, and advised business leaders on mortgage servicing, loss mitigation, risk management and compliance issues. Volentine serves on the Executive Leadership Team, providing advice and guidance to the senior management of the Company.
Volentine brings to Prommis over thirty years of experience as in-house counsel for a variety of banking, mortgage lending, insurance and financial institutions. Prior to working at Fannie Mae, Volentine spent nine years as Assistant General Counsel for Prudential Insurance Company, where he was Chief Legal Officer for the company’s bank and thrift subsidiaries. During his career, Volentine also served in the legal departments of Chase Home Mortgage, Altus bank, the FDIC, Home Federal Savings and Loan, and Citicorp.
Volentine graduated summa cum laude with a degree from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama, and thereafter received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Alabama School of Law. He is admitted to the bar in Alabama, Missouri, Florida and Georgia.
