Kirk T. McGary

Mr. McGary, co-founder and president of Real Property Management began his career in 1982, when he started a small property management company while still in college. After completing graduate school, he worked for several high-tech companies, learning and developing skills he would benefit from down the road. Later in 1986, Kirk founded a successful accounting software company which installed thousands of accounting systems nationwide. In that same year, he started Real Property Management and it has been growing strong ever since. Now, Kirk McGary, along with co-founder Doug Oler, find themselves running one of the most successful and largest property management franchise businesses in North America. The company made its debut on the Inc. 500 list in August, 2010. They have structured a franchise model which offers a stable future especially in today’s economy.

Kirk’s education and training include a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Brigham Young University’s Marriott School of Management, one of the three five national accounting schools, and an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Utah.

Douglas E. Oler

Co-founder and Vice President Doug Oler started early on the entrepreneurial trail choosing tax preparation as his focus. Mr. Oler made an impressive showing by eventually owning and successfully operating nine H&R Block franchise offices in Ogden, Utah for over 25 years. Doug’s keen sense of business and people helped him consistently attain one of the highest growth rates in clients and volume for H&R Block, which in turn won him several achievement awards in these areas.

Mr. Oler’s experience in the franchise business has helped propel Real Property Management into its top ranking as the country’s number one property management company.

Doug earned a double degree in Agricultural Economics and International Relations from Brigham Young University and then went on to earn his Master’s Degree in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M.
