Safeguard Properties CEO

Alan Jaffa is the chief executive officer for Safeguard Properties, a role he assumed in May 2010. Previously he served as chief operations officer. Since joining Safeguard in 1995, Alan has focused his attention on the development of customer-centric policies and procedures designed to ensure the adherence to the Safeguard doctrine. Alan is a constant innovator who continually strives to improve and strengthen Safeguard’s position in the industry and to provide our employees with the empowerment necessary to proactively perform their duties. Under his leadership, Safeguard has enjoyed extraordinary growth that has catapulted the company to its current position as the largest privately held mortgage field services company in the nation. During this extraordinary growth period, Safeguard has been recognized in Northeast Ohio by the Weatherhead 100 for 19 consecutive years. In 2008, Alan was recognized by Crain’s Cleveland Business in its annual “40-Under-40″ profile of young leaders.

Compliance Connections President

Brandon Kirkham is the president of Compliance Connections. Prior to his work with Safeguard, Brandon was the executive vice president of First Preston Management, a real estate asset management, marketing and advisory services firm. During his six years with First Preston he directed the daily operations for a variety of corporate, institutional and government clients. Prior to joining First Preston Management, Brandon was a first vice president for Countrywide Home Loans. His responsibilities varied significantly over his tenure to include unit start-ups, portfolio management, operations management, loss and risk management, due diligence, private label servicing, sub-servicing, alternative mortgage servicing, investor relations, rating agency reporting and policy management. Brandon has a BBA degree in finance and entrepreneurship from Baylor University.
